Specialist mentoring for artists

InSitu founder Maggie O’Regan is a fine art market professional with a specialist knowledge of photography and printmaking. Her experience involves working as a consultant for Magnum Photos and a creative producer of the Photo London Pavilion Commission at Somerset House. Maggie is involved in curation, project-management, commissioning and development of art strategies for a range of clients. She collaborates with specialist teams, associates and partners on a daily basis. With an MA in Fine Art from Chelsea School of Art (UAL) she has clear insight into the creative process, what motivates and what challenges artists.

Maggie is a Professional Mentor at UAL, including Central Saint Martin’s, LCC, Chelsea and Wimbledon School of Art, helping students and graduates sustain their practice since 2015. She contributes regularly as an industry professional including at the RCA, CSM and LCC on professional practice and specific media. During the pandemic she reached out to 2020 art graduates across the UK and internationally, providing free online mentoring sessions in response to the lack of physical degree shows, connecting with over 40 creatives working across photography, painting, sculpture, animation, illustration, contemporary media cultures, art logistics, graphic design, ceramics, mixed media, printmaking and art history.
